William F. Buckley on Evolution

With the passing of William F. Buckley, I thought that I would link back to my previous post on his Darwinian skepticism. It would be great if that Firing Line debate, in which he argued with Philip Johnson, Michael Behe and David Berlinski, were packaged as a DVD or if the audio were made conveniently available as an mp3 or podcast.

I guess with the ad hominem, guilt by association logic of many in our scientific community, we have to conclude that Buckley was an "IDiot" and part of the evil theocracy conspiracy.

I was disappointed to learn that Buckley once supported Jim Crowism.

Buckley is known for his high-falutin vocabulary of obscure words. I once bought a vocabulary-building Buckley desk calendar that presented a new word each day -- most of the words had good synonyms that are much better known.
